Flames of War ETC 2026

The Milan club Home of Wargamers is honored to have been selected to host the 2026 stage of the prestigious European Team Championship.

From August 7th to 9th, the best players in the world (in addition to the European countries, Team USA, Canada, and New Zealand will also take part) will converge on Cornaredo for three days of highly competitive gaming, divided into national teams. At the moment, we expect at least 20 teams!

The tournament is invitation-only. Teams of six players per nation will face the best players from the rest of the world in a three-day full immersion in Flames of War. Not only to determine the best team, but above all to spend time together, talk about our hobby, and experience it at its highest competitive level.

Additionally, on Thursday, August 6th, we are organizing the ESC – European Single Championship, open to everyone.
Three games played using the same ETC 2026 rules (Late War, 95 points Dynamic), and anyone can take part.
There will be players from Milan and from all over Italy, ETC players arriving a few days early, and anyone interested in joining a tournament with a truly international feel.

The entry fee is €40 – however, if you bring terrain (hills, houses, trees) and provide it for the full duration of both the ESC and ETC (August 6th–10th), the ESC tournament on Thursday, August 6th is discounted to €20.
If you bring two or more pieces of terrain, the ESC tournament entry is completely free, courtesy of the organizers.

What is ETC
Every year, the ETC finds a new home, travelling across Europe. In recent years it has been hosted in Belgium, Poland, and Austria, and for ETC 2026 the Captains’ Committee has chosen Italy.
The Home of Wargamers club in Cornaredo is incredibly proud and excited to welcome this amazing event. We would like to sincerely thank the ETC Captains and all the Italian players — and friends from abroad as well! — who have already stepped forward to help make this tournament a success.

The Home of Wargamers community is also happy to support participating teams by providing local players whenever needed. All of them are experienced and passionate Flames of War players, so if your team is missing a player, don’t hesitate to get in touch — we’ll be glad to help!
